About

Hi, I'm Liz, the coach
behind your next chapter.

I help women build strength, confidence, and resilience. This isn't about shrinking your body, it's about expanding your power. This is the chapter where you get stronger — physically and mentally — than ever before.

I've seen benefits to my body from strength training, and now I want to help others.

For years, I've watched women around me focus entirely on how to shrink themselves, chasing the latest restrictive eating craze. I've seen how this affected them — not just physically, but in their ambition, their confidence, and the literal space they allowed themselves to occupy. The fitness industry's message was always the same: eat less, move more, and be grateful for whatever results you get.

I knew there had to be a better way. Not because I had all the answers, but because I was living the question.

I came to strength training in my forties after injury sidelined my running. At the same time, I was navigating my own hormonal shifts, the quiet erosion of confidence that nobody warns you about, and life after repair for a grade 2 cystocele (prolapse) following the birth of my first child.

What I found on the other side of a barbell changed everything.

Strength training — real, progressive, purposeful strength training — is the single most powerful investment a woman can make in her body. It's not about aesthetics. It's about capability. It's for bone density, metabolic health, and the irreplaceable feeling of walking into a room knowing, in your bones, that you are powerful.

That is what The Strength Chapter is built on. I've experienced the transformation firsthand, and now, I'm here to help you write yours.

What I believe

The principles that guide every session

01

Capability over aesthetics

We train to do things — carry, climb, lift, move freely. How your body looks is a side effect of how well it functions.

02

Evidence, not trends

No detoxes. No "toning". No 1200-calorie days. Everything we do is grounded in exercise science and decades of real-world practice.

03

Your body is not the problem

You have been sold the idea that your body needs fixing. It doesn't. It needs investment — and that is a very different thing.

04

Strength is cumulative

Every session, every rep, every decision to show up — it compounds. The women who train with me are building something that lasts.

A note on diet culture

Why strength training and not the latest diet craze?

The diet industry is worth billions. The anti-aging industry is worth more. Both are built on the same premise: that your body, as it is right now, is not enough. That you are a problem to be solved.

I reject that premise entirely. My clients are not problems. They are women at the beginning of something extraordinary — a chapter defined not by what they've lost, but by what they're building.

We do not count calories here. We do not chase a number on a scale. We train for the life you want to live — and we build the body that can carry you there.
